Accessibility Statement

Pulse Digital Health is committed to making pulsedigital.health accessible to everyone, in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

Last reviewed: 20 September 2026

Our conformance target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across every page of pulsedigital.health. This covers keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, resizable text, meaningful image alternatives, and compatibility with assistive technologies including screen readers and voice control.

What we do to keep the site accessible

  • Every page is built with semantic HTML5 (proper headings, landmarks and lists).
  • Interactive components carry visible focus indicators and full keyboard operability.
  • Colour contrast is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA before every design ships.
  • Images, video and decorative graphics carry appropriate alternative text or are hidden from assistive technology when purely decorative.
  • Forms have programmatically associated labels, clear error messages and accessible autocomplete.
  • Video content on the site is captioned. Audio content includes transcripts.
  • The site respects user preferences for reduced motion.

Known limitations

Where we know of accessibility issues that are not yet resolved, we list them here and work to fix them as quickly as possible.

  • A small number of embedded third-party components (video players, embedded booking widgets) do not yet fully match our WCAG 2.2 AA target. We are working with those vendors and, where necessary, replacing them.
  • Some legacy blog post images imported from our previous WordPress site do not yet have optimal alternative text. We are working through the backlog.

How to report an accessibility issue

If you use pulsedigital.health and experience an accessibility barrier, please tell us. We will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. As a private company, we do not fall under those regulations, but we hold ourselves to the same WCAG 2.2 AA standard voluntarily. If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you can contact the EHRC.

Testing

We test with a combination of automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse), manual keyboard testing, and assistive-technology testing (VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android, and NVDA on Windows). We commission independent accessibility audits at least annually.
